It’s a sad day for My Hero Academia fans as the manga series will end in the next 5 chapters as mentioned by creator Kohei Horikoshi. The series has had multiple seasons aired with the latest being season 7.
It premiered on April 6, 2024 with a total of 10 episodes. The My Hero Academia saga will come to a close after 10 long years of hard work and dedication from the author. Horikoshi has been known to be dealing with health issues while writing the series so it’s good to finally see he is ending the manga soon and taking better care of his health.
“Apologies for the two-week break! My schedule piled up… There are just five chapters left until the manga’s end. Some might think, ‘There’s still five chapters to go?!’ while others may think, ‘Just five chapters left?!’ but I’ll do my best to make sure both camps enjoy these last five chapters with Deku and the others! It was a rocky road, but I was able to draw Deku and his friends for nearly 10 years thanks to everyone who kept on reading. It was a dream. Thank you so much! Well, let’s meet again in Jump!” – Kohei Horikoshi
The My Hero Academia manga started back in July 7, 2014 and quickly became popular during the 2010’s. The series was expected to end soon as Horikoshi has mentioned before in an interview in 2021 stating that it has gone on longer than intended and was expected to end in the following year. But now in 2024, he has officially confirmed the end is coming on chapter 430.
