The previously announced mobile game adaptation for the Muv-Luv franchise, Project Immortal, will be launching in 2021. Project Immortal is currently a provisional name, so we might expect to see it under a different name come its 2021 launch. It will be for iOS and Android.
The announcement was made on Age’s web event, “ComiFuri: I Don’t Want Dojin Circles to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Web Event“. Project Immortal is an action RPG where players will be utilizing characters and Tactical Surface Fighters from the Muv-Luv series to fight off enemy BETA. Four player co-op and offline support will be in the game, so you don’t have to depend on it continuing service.
There may be a beta test in October according to creator Kitakuou, where players will be able to experience the combat system for themselves. Project Immortal may also see a PC version release via Steam. As for the story, series creator Hirohiko Yoshida may also be writing certain scenarios.
