Japan-based developer BEEWORKS GAMES have just published a gameplay video for its upcoming fungus breeding simulator Mushroom Garden Deluxe Ultimate that is to be released for the Android and iOS platforms. The game is scheduled for a release sometime in Spring 2020, barring no delays to unforeseen circumstances, such as an ongoing pandemic.
It is worth noting that the game is actually a sequel to Mushroom Garden Deluxe which first came out in 2012. This time around, the new installment will boast over 700 varieties of mushroom, three new logs and new breeds of rare mushroom. To keep up with the times, the visuals have been enhanced accordingly with HD graphics.
If the premise sounds a bit silly, that’s because it is, but if Japan is known for anything, it is the ability to turn absurd ideas into great concepts. In a way this is a somewhat interesting take on the farm simulator genre which has players grow a variety of crops. Here you only grow mushrooms, but then there are so many varieties that it justified its own game.
Regardless, if farming simulators are your game, you might want to take a look at Mushroom Garden Deluxe Ultimate. For more details and information, be sure to drop by the official website.
