As part of the reveal of Bushiroad Games label, Bushiroad has also announced the first ever console game for Mushoku Tensei.
Titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories, the console game will be an RPG and is set to release for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
The game will be developed by Lancarse, the same developer behind Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth and the more recent The DioField Chronicle.
Whether the game will be a retelling of the light novel series or will it feature a brand-new original story is still up in the air. In addition, no release date has been announced.
Mushoku Tensei is a series about a jobless and hopeless man who dies after having a sad and withdrawn life. He was then reincarnated in a fantasy world while keeping his memories and is determined to enjoy his new life without regrets under the name Rudeus Greyrat.
Originally a web novel, the series was later brought as a light novel and eventually received both a manga and an anime adaptation. A second season for the anime is set to premiere this year.
