As you may have noticed, a reboot of The Mummy franchise has made its way to the cinemas, meaning a game tie-in is all but inevitable. In collaboration with game developer Night School Studio of Mr Robot and OXENFREE game, Universal Brand Development is bringing us The Mummy Dark Universe Stories for both Android and iOS sometime in June 2017.
The game resumes where the movie left off, embarking players on an episodic adventure with multiple narrative choices to be made along the way. There are a total of 12 chapters available at launch, with more to be added along the way. If you start playing on day one you will be getting a chapter for free.
As the developers have not disclosed a release date, you may want to pre-register for the game on Google Play.
