Muhammad Ali, the professional American boxer, and considered by many to be the greatest of all time in boxing, appears in the trailer for WWE 2K24.
In the recently released Legacy official trailer, WWE 2K24 displayed some highlights from its 40 years of WrestleMania Showcase, which features a variety of new match types, such as backstage brawls, ambulance matches, casket matches, and the guest referee match.
Near the end of the trailer, it shows a brief glimpse of the legendary boxer performing punches in the ring.
It’s worth noting that Muhammad Ali, aside from being a very popular boxer, has also starred in the first WrestleMania, where he was a celebrity referee for the matches, so his inclusion in WWE 2K24 would be fitting for a personality of his caliber.
The franchise has had a history of adding popular wrestlers into its roster, such as John Cena and The Undertaker, who are legends in the wrestling scene.
They have even added celebrity wrestlers such as Bad Bunny and Logan Paul in WWE 2K23.
Muhammad Ali has also recently starred in the MMA fighting game, EA Sports UFC 5.
WWE 2K24 is set to launch on 8th March 2024 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Those who pre-order the game will receive the Nightmare Family Pack, which features Undashing Cody Rhodes, Dusty Rhodes, Superstar Billy Graham, and Stardust as playable characters along with MyFaction bonuses.
