Get ready for the spookiest season of all with MTG Innistrad: Midnight Hunt – the latest expansion to Magic: The Gathering, bringing a return to the spooky lands of Innistrad.
Our friends over at Wizards of the Coast sent us a care package to commemmorate the launch of the expansion, which officially launches September 24th- along with a special box and two commander decks.
Of course, the most unique thing in this set is the wooden box, which comes imprinted with the logo for Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. Inside is a great edition of the Inistrad Gazette, warning you of the local happenings as the town prepares for the Harvest Festival.
The box also comes with an assortment of dice, so its an invaluable asset for anyone getting into Magic: The Gathering.
Innistrad:
Of course, aside from the box, we have the actual boosters for the Midnight Hunt Expansion, each containing cards for you to build your own Magic: The Gathering deck. You can read about some of the cards you can get in this set via our own exclusive card reveal, as well as some special variants announced last weekend. You’ll also get the new Land Cards- featuring gothically chic-looking black-and-white illustrations to really sell you on that spooky mood.
Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander Decks
If Sealed Drafts or building decks from scratch aren’t your speed, Wizards also sent us two new Commander Decks– perfect for those who like any special card in their set and want to enact flashy battles.
The two commander decks they sent us are the Coven Counters and Undead Unleashed decks- one with the Legendary Creature Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, and the other coming with Leinore, Autumn’s Sovereign.
These boxes are more than just decks though- they even come with life counters, so you can track the progress of your games in the most stylish way (and why wouldn’t you, if you were playing a Gothic Horror deck)
This expansion is perfect for fans of all things spooky, or to usher in the spookiest time of year! Thanks to our friends at Wizards of the Coast, who sent us the cards.
