With MtG ‘s Crimson Vow expansion dropping this November 19th, our friends at Wizards of the Coast have sent a fine wedding invitation to us to the Vampire wedding of the year.
For those not aware, Crimson Vow is the next chapter in the saga of the return to Innistrad, and sees Olivia Voldaren marrying Edgar Markov.
With it comes a plethora of new vampire cards, with new Blood Tokens as well as all sorts of keyword abilities that will let you really make an army of the night worthy
Just like with Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, the media gift comes in a lovely box, as well as a booster box with packs from Crimson Vow to build your own deck of vampires.
Once you open the box, you’ll find several goodies- the most eyecatching of these is a wine glass, emblazoned with the logo for the MtG Crimson Vow expansion.
There’s also a specially illustrated token card, as well as a letter inviting you to the vampire shindig.
Of course, why would you attend a wedding if you weren’t gonna play a sick game of Magic: The Gathering? That’s why the box also includes a special life counter, so you can track your life points in style while you’re playing a game with the family over at the next table.
Like we mentioned earlier, the media gift includes a booster box for the Crimson Vow expansion, full of cards to either build up your deck or even play a sick game of sealed draft with your friends.
Naturally , your first instinct upon seeing that many sealed boosters would be to open them up- not to brag, but we got some pretty choice cards from our first 5 packs:
You can do your own pulls once Crimson Vow releases for Magic: The Gathering this November 19th. Don’t forget to check out our exclusive card preview for Diver Skaab from the set. Thanks again to Wizards of the Coast for the sweet gift!
