MSI has revealed its latest gaming laptop lineup at CES 2025, headlined by new models featuring NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and powered by both Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and AMD Ryzen processors.
The showcase was led by the limited edition Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth, featuring unique hand-drawn dragon designs and Nordic runes. This premium model merges artistic design with high-end performance, incorporating Norse mythology elements like the nine realms and rune symbols into its aesthetic.
MSI’s refreshed gaming lineup includes updated versions of their Titan, Raider, Vector, and Stealth series, all now offering 18-inch display options. These models can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, promising desktop-grade performance. The Titan series leads the pack with MSI’s OverBoost Ultra Technology, capable of delivering up to 270W of total system power, while the Raider and Vector series follow closely at 260W.
The new laptops feature significant technological improvements, including Thunderbolt 5 support and DDR5-6400 memory. MSI has also introduced an innovative cooling solution with an SSD heat pipe that can reduce PCIe Gen 5 SSD temperatures by up to 10°C. The company’s new Super RAID 5 technology combines Gen5 and Gen4 SSDs to achieve read speeds of up to 18,000MB/s.
On the AI front, MSI introduced its AI Robot assistant during CES 2025, developed in partnership with NVIDIA. This feature integrates a local small language model that enables users to control their laptops through voice commands without requiring an internet connection. Eric Kuo, Executive Vice President & NB BU GM of MSI, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting diverse user needs, whether they’re seeking exceptional performance or AI-driven features in their gaming laptops.
