Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced the release of Mr Driller DrillLand for the Nintendo Switch on 25 June 2020! A Steam version will also be available, the launch to be confirmed at a later time. The game was originally a Gamecube title.
“Mr Driller” is an action puzzle game where players control one of six characters to reach the bottom of the stage by “demolishing” formations of coloured blocks in the playfield. Throughout the game, the character will need to survive by collecting air capsules and avoid falling blocks.
Drill Land has five thrilling stages, each with different rules! So get excited and explore the different facets of Drill Land!
Mr Driller is fun and easy-to-play, and has been beloved by fans around the world. For its 20th anniversary, the original Gamecube Mr Driller DrillLand will also be released as a remastered version on Nintendo Switch and Steam with upgraded graphics.
Beginners can play on the “casual course” mode to get used to the mechanics and controls first, before they can play the “classic course”, where the difficulty will match the original version.
For the Nintendo Switch, simultaneous play of up to 4 players will be supported, with each player having their own Joy-Con. Go solo, or with friends in co-op!
Get the game when it comes out in Southeast Asia for both Switch and PC Steam!
