News of Nippon Ichi Software and ForwardWorks’ upcoming Disgaea RPG on mobile came out a while ago. Before the game actually releases, there was a special live-stream program broadcast a few days ago that revealed details of the soon-to-come mobile game.
Watch the opening movie trailer here:
Disgaea RPG will be the latest addition to the Disgaea series. In this game, players will be able to choose one of the main characters from previous titles to start off the game. Players then have to raise the character into a strongest demon lord.
The game will feature its own unique story. For the first time in a game based on the Disgaea series, a Disgaea Recap feature will be added. This feature allows players to recount events from previous titles.
The most significant difference between Disgaea RPG and its predecessors would be the combat system. The new game will use a semi-command-based combat system to optimize the experience for mobile players.
Furthermore, the series’ iconic massive damage numbers will also feature in Disgaea RPG. Nippon Ichi Software even teased that that the damage numbers that the game displays are not even the highest possible damage players can reach.
By the way, pre-registration is currently available in Japan. Additionally, it will most probably be available for both iOS and Android devices when the game officially launches. Unfortunately, the release date is still yet to be announced so stay tuned for now. To pre-register for Disgaea RPG, click here.
