Moonshiners: A New Frontier Pursuit in Red Dead Online

Find a new pursuit in the frontier with the Moonshiners in Red Dead Online. This lawless America isn’t fully governed yet, and the wild open space is ripe for the picking for the ruthless and ambitious. Why not earn your keep by becoming a black-market Moonshiner? This all-new Frontier Pursuit is coming to Red Dead Online 13 December.

This new Specialist Role lets players establish their own bootlegging business. If you’re on the Trader path, or just want your own property, this could be the job for you. Unique role-specific skills will unlock for players as they perfect distillation methods. Don’t forget to avoid the law and cut rival peddlers out of business. Should players survive long enough, they could open their own speakeasy too.

Active traders who completed a sell mission or reached Rank 5 in Trader progression will receive an introduction via Cripps. Meet the infamous Maggie Fike, an experienced bootlegger with scars to match, at Emerald Ranch. She’s got the connections and knowledge to help players get their business running.

Begin by purchasing a Moonshining Shack. Passers-by will see the Shack as an unassuming dwelling, an ordinary homestead on the main floor. This is a front, of course, with all the business done in the basement. Owning and operating the Moonshine business is just part of your role. Work with Maggie through story missions which you can play solo or co-op as part of her revenge on those who tried to take her down. Growing the business and eliminating rival operations is all in a day’s work.

Learn recipes and techniques along the way to make your moonshine the best by a country mile. You will also get the opportunity to set up your own underground Bar, serving your own shine. Customize the decor, add a country band with dance floor for entertaining friends and clientele.
