Following the news back in May this year, Monster Strike’s English version will be shutting down in August later. The game being the top-grossing mobile game in Japan earning millions of USD daily has run a few blockades when it is not doing well in other countries like China and South Korea. However this time, developer Mixi intends to relaunch the game in China again with determination.

Monster Strike developer has opened an office under the name XFlag which is also the name of Mixi’s development team in Beijing. Though the game was shut down in China less than a year since its launch back in August 2015, Mixi is determined to reintroduce the game in the China market again. This time with a new business strategy perhaps to gain China mobile gamers’ attention towards the IP.
If this goes successfully for them, the English version’s planned server shut down in August this year may be pulled back. That means players of the English version can continue playing the game with more updates to come following the Japan version.
