Monster Strike is a game developed by Mixi, a Japanese company. The game is one of the top mobile games in Japan, however it is not doing well in overseas country like China and South Korea. Even though they have tried to keep the English version going, it was not really getting any better.

The Monster Strike team has announced 1st of August, 2017 to be the shutdown date of the game. However despite letting players know the news of their decision, the team is still rolling out updates and events that they have planned in their calendar.
Here is the schedule over the next few months (times in ET):
May 2017 – New Transcensions, a new Colossal Quest, and the Tower of Champions will be released
June 2017 – New event series will be rapidly released along with daily and new Impossible Quests
July 2017 – Plentiful login rewards, new event series, daily and new Impossible Quests will be released
July 2nd, 2017 – In-game purchases, new installs, and data recovery will be disabled
August 1st, 2017 – Servers will shutdown
Overall, the monster slinging game is not all that bad as it is popular in Japan. Given the genre an idea of a gameplay may not be suited for players in other countries, Monster Strike is still one of a kind. If you are interested in the game, you can still download it while it is still available and show them some support.
