Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Roadmap
Capcom has released their Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Roadmap, a graphic containing their plans for the first quarter of 2020 and a few hints for after. Notably, the PC version of Iceborne will be synchronized with the console version in April and both versions will have the same content. The PC Game will get Rajang and the Volcanic Region in February. In March, Stygian Zinogre, Safi’jiiva, and the Tundra Region. In April, two unannounced variant monsters, which will be Arch-Tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters, as well as the Astera/Seliana Fest. At that point, the PC version will be in sync with the consoles.
The two variants are going to be highly anticipated, so this is some exciting news here! On top of that, the Grand Appreciation Fest will allow players to gather materials for beautiful Galaxy/Nebula themed cosmetics as well as a pretty freaky looking alien-like Palico Armor. It’s kinda cute and creepy at the same time…
The “fan-favorite monster” doesn’t reveal much, especially since literally every monster will have it’s fans (for better or for worse, ugh). But eitherway, it’s exciting to know that Monster Hunter World will still be getting frequent updates through 2020.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that the first new monster will be unveiled at Taipei Game Show 2020, which will debut after the Lunar New Year. This year’s Taipei Game Show will also be hosting the “Monster Hunter: ICEBORNE” Taipei competition. During that time, the producer, Ryoji Erimoto, and director, Kaname Fujioka,
is expected to announce the new monster on-stage during the competition.
Anyway, that’s all for now! If you’re curious, you can check out the official tweet that announced the roadmap here.
