Soars into the skies with Ratha again because the remastered version of Monster Hunter Stories now has a release date.
Unveiled today in Capcom Highlights live broadcast, Monster Hunter Stories remastered will be launching digitally for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on June 14, 2024.
Pre-orders will also be available soon and will include Navirou’s “King” and “Queen” outfits as bonuses; however, Capcom has yet to unveil when pre-orders will go live.
Additionally, a “Monster Hunter Stories Collection”, which includes both Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, was also announced and will be available digitally for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The collection will also be available physically for the Nintendo Switch version in North America and Asia.
However, the collection will not be available in Japan, but a standalone version of Monster Hunter Stories remastered will be available physically.
The remastered was first unveiled at Nintendo Direct in February 2024 and will not only re-release Monster Hunter Stories with more refined graphics but also come with a slew of new additions, including now fully voiced in both Japanese and English.
Monster Hunter Stories was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2016 and is a spin-off title of the Monster Hunter franchise that pushes the series into a monster collector RPG genre akin to Pokémon.
