Capcom has announced Title Update 5 for Monster Hunter Stories 2, on the same day that Title Update 4 was launched which adds a reworked Fatalis, as well as two new Monsties to the game.
In this update, fans will be able to fight a new higher difficulty co-op quest against Fatalis, the iconic endgame boss of the original Monster Hunter.
According to the developers, this quest will feature a mechanic where players will need to defeat it within the turn limit to clear the quest.
The first part of the free update drops on October 21st, and will also add a quest to explore Deviant Dens.
A week later after the new Fatalis quest in Monster Hunter Stories 2, fans will also be able to recruit two new Monsties- Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos. Their inclusion adds another den for you and your friends to explore, letting you look for Rare and Subspecies monster eggs.
Title Update 4 literally released for Monster Hunter Stories 2 today, which sees the addition of the new Monstie Molten Tigrex. Dreadking Rathalos is scheduled to be added to the game as a Monstie next week along with new quests.
Just like Update 5, Update 4 also featured a reworked Co Op Exlcusive Quest- adding a harder Kulve Taroth to the game, similar to its rework in Monster Hunter World.
