Capcom has announced a new Palamute figure, another in the line of merchandise of the new Monster Hunter Rise companion .
The figure is available for Preorder now on the Capcom website, and is scheduled for release in November 2021. It’ll cost 16,500 Yen (RM619.92).
Of course, the figure doesn’t just come with a Palamute- instead, this static figure also features the other new companion in Monster Hunter Rise, the Cohoot.
Interestingly enough, this figure is part of Capcom’s Capcom Figure Builder lineup, making it the first time a non-monster was featured in the line of statues.
Unlike Fatalis it looks like the Palamute figure will not be as limited in number, considering its still actually available for pre-order more than 24 hours after its release.
The Palamute and Cohoot, Your New Best Friends
Palamutes are the all-new companions in Monster Hunter Rise, which split up the workload with the series mainstay Palico by having the Palamute be focused on offensive support while the Palico would focus more on traditional support like healing and setting traps.
Capcom had previously released a Palamute plushie, made to look like the animal was asleep. However, the plushie was only released in Japan and continues to not be available elsewhere.
Cohoots meanwhile are more like the replacement for Poogies, being the pet that you can fawn over in between hunts. On top of that they’re also part of the game’s photo mode, letting you mount your camera on the bird to take selfies.
