Niantic has announced that they will be increasing the spawn of the muddy Jyuratodus in an upcoming event for Monster Hunter Now.
In the upcoming event, A Muddy Escapade, Jyuratodus will be spawning a lot more frequently in Swamp Habitats of Monster Hunter Now, starting from 3 November 2023 to 5 November 2023.
The exact schedule of the event is as follows:
- Friday, 3 November 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM
- Saturday, 4 November 2023, from 1 PM to 4 PM
- Sunday, 5 November 2023, from 1 PM to 4 PM
During the event period, Jyuratodus can be seen leisurely swimming in the muddy pools of the Swamp Habitats a lot more frequently than usual for all hunters at HR11 and above.
Aside from that, monsters in all Habitats will also reappear in shorter intervals than usual, allowing Hunters to hunt them more often.
Do note that the event details of A Muddy Escapade are subject to change, according to Niantic and Capcom.
Mud Fish Infestation
This event will be a great opportunity for Hunters to hunt down more Jyuratodus for their materials to craft its weapons.
Aside from Great Jagras, Jyuratodus is the only monster whose weapons are aligned to the Water element, which is quite useful against some of the tougher monsters such as the belligerent Anjanath.
As an aquatic Piscine Wyvern, the Jyuratodus armor set is also designed specifically to bolster the Water element, suitable for an elemental build.
For Great Sword players, the Jyuratodus legging, Jyura Greaves, may be a useful piece of equipment as it grants the Focus armor skill, shortening the charging time of the weapon’s Charged Slash.
While we wait for the swarm of Jyuratodus to flood the screen of Monster Hunter Now, the game is currently having its Halloween event, featuring an exclusive helmet and Kulu-Ya-Ku stealing pumpkins.
