In the wake of various entertainment outlets needing to be closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Golden Screen Cinemas has apparently confirmed the Monster Hunter live action movie to be screened on 3 September. The teaser posters were shared on their official Facebook page, with nary a caption.

It might be surprising to some that they’ve confirmed a date while we’re still in the midst of an extended Movement Control Order (MCO). They’ve previously announced the showing of the Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train, but cannot provide any time frame for its screening.
At this point, we’ll hope that we can go back to normal soon enough so that we can enjoy adaptations of some of our favourite games or anime on the silver (golden?) screen with everyone else.
