Time To Hunt, the Monster Hunter inspired mobile game made for Chinese audiences has announced its release date, coming to players soon.
According to TapTap, Time To Hunt will release on 22nd September, 2022, and will be presumably downloadable for players outside of China via the app.
Time To Hunt had previously opened for pre registrations, wherein the game had over 150,000 at the time we reported it.
As of this writing, the game sits at over 600,000 pre registrations, having met all previous goals.
The game will feature up to 4 player hunts, as well as plenty of side content like farming to keep players hooked in.
Here’s the description of the title, courtesy of TapTap:
Once upon a time, when man was in his infancy, he began to know how to make fire from wood, build houses from wood and stone, and hunt beasts for their skin, clothes, and roasts. Young warriors, hunting the mightiest beasts on earth, began to band together and venture into the regions where our world began.
It looks as though the farming sim components will be similar to item farming in Monster Hunter, though from the trailer it seems like it will be more involved.
Here’s the description of the farming mechanics in the game:
After adventuring, your homeland is a great place to relax, process equipment and relax, with 3 building systems (forest, desert and snow) and over 200 buildable buildings. DIY your own home from scratch, and turn the resources from hunting into powerful weapons to face the tougher battles. Of course, if you’re not a hunting party, it’s also a good choice to water your plants every day and provide your friends with more weapons and equipment to support them.
