Team17 has partnered up with Beehive Studios to bring their new and upcoming monster-collector RPG, LumenTale: Memories of Trey, to the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam this 2025.
LumenTale: Memories of Trey is set to be a monster-collecting RPG that blends storytelling with turn-based battles. Following a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, players can look forward to an epic journey where they’ll collect unique creatures and uncover an intense storyline.
Paolo Lella, CEO and Lead Developer at Beehive Studios, has shared that LumenTale is a passion project that aims to deliver something both nostalgic and new. As they partner up with Team17, their extensive industry experience, gives them the support to bring their vision to players around the globe.
Rob Elser, Senior Producer at Team17, adds on to say that Beehive’s vision for Trey’s story is coming together beautifully. He further states that it has been a joy to collaborate with their team as they build a magical and immersive world.

LumenTale takes place in the golden age of Talea, where peace reigned under the Emperor’s rule. But after his death, a civil war broke out between his twin sons, Logos of the North and Mythos of the South, plunging the land into chaos. Amid the violence, a faction of the military rose to protect the people, becoming known as the Lumen.
These guardians became symbols of hope, defending both the citizens and the mysterious creatures known as Animon.

Animon, made of a powerful energy called Anivis, have long fascinated scholars. Though much about them remains unknown, they can influence emotions and connect with souls. As a Lumen, players can form bonds with Animon, harness their elemental powers, and fight together using a Holoken.
LumenTale: Memories of Trey is available to view on the official Steam page. Look forward to the future development of the game moving ahead.
