Apple TV+ has unveiled an official trailer for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, a series set in the world of Legendary’s Monsterverse with Godzilla and King Kong.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an upcoming Apple TV+ series set in the world of Legendary’s Monsterverse, the same universe that includes films such as 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, 2019’s Godzilla: King of Monsters, and more.
As previously announced, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will premiere globally on 17 November 2023, exclusively on Apple TV+.
The trailer was unveiled at New York Comic Con and it showcases the fictional scientific organization Monarch encountering and going up against various giant monsters known as Titans, from urban cities to Skull Island, the home of King Kong.
As per the official synopsis, the series follows up with the story of 2014’s Godzilla when the beast had a thunderous battle against the MUTO pairs that leveled San Francisco and revealed to the world that monsters are real.
The series will tell the story of two siblings attempting to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization of Monarch and discovering the world of gigantic monsters known as Titans.
According to Apple TV+, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters will hit the streaming platform with the first two episodes starting on 17 November 2023, followed by one episode every Friday through 12 January 2023.
