Project M seems prepped for a global release, thanks to a publishing contract through JoyCity. Horrendously generic title aside, Project M is, as you might guess, an anime style game developed by Bilibili and subsidiary MojitoGames.
The game is said to be an RPG in which you’ll be able to gather and train a variety of cute anime girls, with a story taking place in some near future dystopia. Expect the usual promises of customization, strategic gameplay and immersive battles.
Not much actual information is available about the game so far, but you can find a video preview of it on Mojito’s website here. You can also watch it below. If the company’s name sounds vaguely familiar to you, you might recognize them from Game of Dice and Hero Ball Z.
The teaser shows it utilizes 3D models throughout, which you’ll be able to spin around and admire as you like. Battles look pretty simple conceptually, with a team of five units in isometric view battling against enemies, or at least, a boss-like enemy.
No release date or release window has been given, but presumably it would be 2022 at the earliest. There can’t possibly be too many cute anime girls, so keep an eye out for more news on this title.
