On 31st January, Square Enix hosted a Mobius Final Fantasy-related live stream from 20:00 to 21:30 JST to unravel the “mysterious countdown that has suddenly begun“. Apparently they will be revealing some of the contents that are related to Mobius Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
If you want to catch the live stream you can check it out here:
Here are some brief info on what they had broadcasted:
Content
A mysterious countdown has suddenly begun… There is an atmosphere currently drifting about Palamecia as if something serious is happening.
This broadcast will report the details of “something” that may happen in February. Collaborations, events, campaigns. Mobius Final Fantasy is going forward at full throttle this year as well! Don’t miss the first broadcast of 2017.
Guests
- Yoshinori Kitase (Producer)
- Naoki Hamaguchi (Project Leader)
- MC Sanshi
In the live stream, they have showcased contents from the collaboration of Mobius Final Fantasy X Final Fantasy VII. Ever since the sneak peak of the FF VII Remake content in the game last year in Japan, they have apparently been working on it to bring in a new job into Mobius Final Fantasy! After the addition of Cloud, it is expected that we would receive a Sepiroth job! In the live stream, they showcased the strength and skills of what a Sepiroth job card can do.
Also there is a new system, what seems to be a Materia System where you can equip and combine different kinds of Materia to increase your elemental damage (if I am not wrong). This means the game will have an even wider spectrum of how players can play and grow stronger in the game. Besides the new content, there will also be new rewards for players in Japan in conjunction with the release of the MFF x FF VII content!
As we all know in our previous article that we have covered, Mobius Final Fantasy will be coming to global Steam! The game was available for Steam JP only previously that boasts 4k resolution capability for best gaming experience. However this time, the game will be launched on Steam globally on 3rd February! Soon, we will be able to enjoy the game at its full graphic potential!
