Dynasty Warriors 9 is set to get its mobile version, just a year after its release on PC, XBox One and PS4. Originally developed by Koei Tecmo, the development of the mobile version will go into the hands of Nexon Korea after they have come to a licensing agreement.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile will be an action MMORPG based on its original version. Yes, it will be an open-world game and the thrilling action displayed by the warriors is going to be there as well. The game is currently under development at Nexon Korea’s One Studio.
Kun Wook Song, Development Director of One Studio, said he is delighted to deliver the game. He had also asked us to look forward to the unique action of Dynasty Warriors 9 Mobile.
Dynasty Warriors 9 is the latest title in the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. It is a game that focuses on Musou action. In case you do not know, Musou also means warriors. The game was the first in the franchise to introduce an open world that gives players the freedom to immerse themselves in a completely new Musou experience. There was also this new action called the “state combo system” which allows players to fight in many different ways. You can read about our first impression on the game here.

The original version on Steam got some pretty negative reviews. It has also gotten some criticism since its initial launch.
