Mizutsune Joining the Roster in Monster Hunter Now

Monster Hunter Now will be adding in Mizutsune for the MH Now Summer Hunt 2024 and joining alongside it will be the Nightshade Paolumu.

Mizutsune will be the first ever leviathan appearing in Monster Hunter Now. It was announced previously that one leviathan will be appearing for the summer event. Without further ado, let’s jump into the details of the July events we’ll be having.

Starting from July 8, 2024 until July 17, 2024, Poison/Dragon Element Quests will be added into the game. This line of quests will help hunters to prepare for formidable monsters that have said ailments in their attacks. Take on the might Deviljho and Pink Rathian and acquire the materials to counter them.

As mentioned, Mizutsune will be added as well but will only appear in Hunt-a-thons after the event concludes. The event will start on July 18, 2024 and will last until July 28, 2024. Moving on, for the Nightshade Paolumu hunt, you will need tickets to hunt it. This will be the first-ever paid online event in Monster Hunter Now! Ticket holders will be able to hunt Nightshade Paolumu before anyone else and even participate in unlimited Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions. This is an extremely short event as it only last from July 20, 2024 until July 21, 2024.

Both the Mizutsune and Nightshade Paolumu quests will give players the opportunity to obtain layered equipment as well as a hunter badge to show their participation.

Lastly, the Driftsmelting & Monster Subspecies Event will have certain monster subspecies that will appear more frequently on the field and limited-time driftstones may drop when slaying large monsters. These driftstones can grant skills not found in usual driftstones.
