Capcom is set to breathe new life into Monster Hunter Wilds with its first free Title Update 1, launching on April 4. The update introduces the fan-favorite Mizutsune, a Bubble Fox Wyvern previously seen in Monster Hunter Rise, along with a host of exciting new features for hunters.
Players at Hunter Rank 21 and above can unlock the Mizutsune hunt by speaking with Kanya in the Scarlet Forest. The graceful leviathan brings its signature bubble-based attacks, promising a challenging encounter for seasoned hunters.
The update also unveils the Grand Hub, a massive gathering space that transforms the game’s social experience. Hunters can enjoy new activities like Barrell Bowling, observe the village of Suja’s traditions, and even catch the Diva’s nightly vocal performance. The hub will serve as a central location for squad management and tracking global Arena Quest records.

A highlight for high-rank hunters is the introduction of Arch-tempered Rey Dau, an Event Quest designed for players above Hunter Rank 50. This challenging encounter offers a new Rey Dau Gamma armor set for those skilled enough to defeat it. The update coincides with the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, running from April 22 to May 6. During this period, hunters can access limited-time equipment, special gestures, and unique Pop-Up Camp decorations.
The Grand Hub opens for business April 4 with the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds’ first free Title Update.
