miHoYo Launches HoyoLAB, A Community Portal For Honkai Impact 3rd

miHoYo has launched its new service HoyoLAB, a new community portal for fans of Honkai Impact 3rd.

According to miHoYo, HoyoLAB will be a platform to promote content creation for the community, as the site comes equipped with tools for fans to upload their own creations, as well as follow their favorite creators.

miHoYo will even award Content Creator status based on the fan reception, letting fans easily spot their favorite content creators amidst the crowd. You can do this by entering miHoYo’s various fan contests.

It’s not all bragging rights though- miHoYo says that those who attain the highest rank, Certified Creator, will also be able to sign with miHoYo. This likely means that future official illustrations have a chance to be done by people from this pool.

HoyoLAB Recruitment Drive

Aside from this, HoyoLAB is also running a recruitment drive, encouraging fans to sign up for the service and engage with the platform to get free rewards in Honkai Impact 3rd.

Signing up with the website and leveling up your profile to level 4 adds you to the official tally, and once the tally hits 5000 users miHoYo says they’ll give all users 60 crystals and 500 Asterite.

While HoyoLAB is only for Honkai Impact 3rd right now, it stands to reason that the Genshin Impact community could see a similar service pop up for them. It’s unknown if this is connected to the rumored cross-progression update for Genshin Impact.
