Miasma Chronicles, a new game from Mutant Year Zero devs revealed

From The Bearded Ladies, the developer of Mutant Year Zero, comes Miasma Chronicles, a new title announced during the 505 Games Showcase.

A trailer for the game was revealed during the showcase, which you can watch below:

The game will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. It will be releasing sometime in 2023.

Set in a post-apocalyptic setting similar to that of Mutant Year Zero, Miasma Chronicles feature a a pair of brothers as its 2 main protagonists—Elvis Ashlee (played by Daniel Amerman) and Diggs (played by Byron Marc Newsome). Interestingly enough, Diggs appears to be a robot as opposed to the more human-looking Elvis.

According to the developers:

The one thing that we learned with both titles was that our fans really enjoyed world building and interesting characters. So, for Miasma Chronicles we wanted to push ourselves even further and add a lot more detail and narrative systems into our game world. We also made a big effort to make the game playable by a wider audience without losing what makes our games special. We also took note of feedback both externally and internally to make the gameplay even tighter than in our previous offerings.
