During the Pokemon GO Stadium event in Japan earlier this week, the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo appears as a Raid Boss for the event attendees to challenge and capture. Feel bad for not attended the event? Here is a good news for you: Through the new Exclusive Raid Battle feature, you can battle and capture Mewtwo too in the upcoming weeks.
Exclusive Raids will appear in a form similar to the existing Raid Battles – they will appear periodically at Gyms. But the difference is, only trainers who are invited will be able to join the Exclusive Raid Battle. In order to receive the invitation, you will have to complete a raid recently at the Gym where the Exclusive Raid Battle will be taking place. The invitation will also include an advance warning of the time of Exclusive Raid starts, so you can take your time to coordinate with the other Trainers before taking on the powerful Raid Boss.
Mewtwo will be the first Pokemon available in Exclusive Raid Battles, while the other powerful Pokemon may appear in Exclusive Raid Battles later on as well.
Besides, the 4 Legendary Pokemon that appears previously – Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Lugia will all be available in Raid Battles from 14 August to 31 August. So get prepared to face the Legendaries and catch ’em all!
