During the recent Nintendo Direct, it’s been announced that Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 1 will be releasing for several platforms on 24th October 2023.
The Master Collection will be featuring several classic titles such as Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Additionally, fans are also able to enjoy the original Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, as well as the NES versions of Metal Gear and Snake’s Revenge.
This compilation will also be featuring both the Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novels. That’s not all, the Master Collection packs additional content such as the Screenplay books and Master books which includes story and character info from the various Metal Gear titles. It even has strategy books and a digital soundtrack where you’ll be able to hear the nostalgic tunes of the venerable title.
Moreover, the first three Metal Gear Solid games will also be available separately on the Nintendo E-shop, so fans can opt for that if they are not interested in getting the full bundle.
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 1 will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the collection will beginning today at SRP $59.99. Pre-order bonuses includes a limited digital soundtrack containing newly recorded, orchestral renditions of the iconic themes from the Metal Gear Solid series including, “THE BEST IS YET TO COME,” “CAN’T SAY GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY,” and “SNAKE EATER.”
