Those residing in Japan and longing to play Mega Man X DiVE is in for a treat, as pre-registration has just opened. The game is scheduled for a launch in the land of the rising sun come autumn 2020.
As part of the announcement, Capcom has posted a video on its YouTube channel showing off the gameplay, character enhancement menus, PVP, co-op and other cool stuff. It is worth noting that the trailer does not show the Challenge Quests, which come in three variants. The stages of that mode includes a special boss challenge, challenge tower and a multiplayer mode where players will compete against four others at random.
Signing up for the game will entitle users to 30 characters shards that can be redeemed for an A Rank Zero once pre-registrations hit 60,000. Other goodies include supply boxes boasting character enhancements and weapon shards.
If for whatever reason you want to try the Japanese version out, we regret to inform that those on the Asian version will not be able to transfer their data over. As previously reported, the Asian region client for Mega Man x DiVE supports Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Macau and the Philippines.
