Just a few hours ago (August 26 on America local time), a mass shooting happened at a Madden NFL 19 tournament in Jacksonville, Florida. Unfortunately, 3 individuals (including the shooter who shot himself) died from the shooting, while 11 more were injured.
Here is the Twitch live stream that recorded what is happening (contains disturbing content):

From the video, we could hear several shots ring out before the live stream stopped, a few were crying in pain while the others are abandoning the area. Watch carefully at the beginning and you may notice a laser targeting sight on the African American player, Eli Clayton (aka Trueboy). He is then confirmed to have passed away in the accident.
The shooter is identified as 24 years old David Katz (aka Bread) who was the champion of the Madden Bills Championship in 2017. As an active eSports player, he is also a participant of the tournament but got disqualified earlier that day, and this is probably the reason that leads to the mass shooting.
We are sorry about the news, hope everyone involved in the accident will be okay. As it is not difficult to obtain a gun in America, we think that the respective sides should take caution steps such as body-checking before entering the tournament venue (and places with crowds). Life is all about winning and losing, as a player we shouldn’t be a sore loser too.
