Bioware stated that the Mass Effect trilogy is getting a remaster. However, it seems that a DLC is missing from Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
According to an interview with Game Informer, the missing DLC in question is Pinnacle Station from the first Mass Effect game. Pinnacle Station is a DLC made by Demiurge Studios, not Bioware. When EA and Bioware contacted Demiurge, they discovered that Pinnacle Station’s source code was corrupted.
According to game director Mac Walters, adding said DLC to the game would require the team to create it from scratch. Doing so would take another six months. As such, Mass Effect Legendary Edition will proceed without it.
While the remaster will not have Pinnacle Station and multiplayer, players can still enjoy all three games with more than 40 DLC in total. These DLC are:
