Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Trailer Shows Black Symbiote Suit, Kraven and Lizard Fight

The 2023 PlayStation Showcase has given more information about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 including the use of Black Suit Symbiote Spider-Man and the role of Kraven The Hunter as one of the game’s main villains.

You can check out the two new trailers for Spider-Man 2 presented at the showcase: a cinematic trailer featuring Kraven and a gameplay trailer showing Miles Morales tracking down Curtis Conners aka The Lizard:

This confirms Kraven and Lizard as two classic Spider-Man villains that will be debuting into the game series with this entry with the former seemingly attempting to hunt the latter alongside the web crawler. We should note that Lizard seems far bigger than usual incarnations, he reminds me a lot of Killer Croc from the Batman Arkham Games.

It also confirms that Black Suit Spider-Man will be available to play with Peter seemingly more aggressively while under its influence. It hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’ll be interesting to see if the game introduces Eddie Brock and gives us a first glimpse of this universe’s version of Venom.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch this Fall 2023 for PS5.
