Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Set to Swing onto PC in January 2025

In an exciting announcement at New York Comic Con, Insomniac Games revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be making its way to PC on January 30, 2025. The game, which has garnered critical acclaim since its PlayStation 5 release, will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Nixxes Software is developing the PC version in collaboration with Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games. Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes, promises enhanced features for PC, including improved ray-tracing options to take advantage of various hardware configurations.

Two editions will be available at launch: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition includes the complete game with all updates released since the PS5 launch, featuring new suits, New Game+, Ultimate Levels, and various gameplay and accessibility improvements. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers additional content, including exclusive suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, early unlocks for certain items, and bonus skill points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, introducing new villains like Venom and Kraven alongside returning favorites. The game expands on its predecessor with new abilities such as Symbiote Surge and Web Wings, and adds new boroughs to explore in Marvel’s New York.

While no additional story content is planned, the PC version of Spider-Man 2 will include all post-launch content released for the PS5 version. As the January 2025 PC launch approaches, fans can look forward to more details on features and recommended specs.
