2K and Marvel Entertainment has announced that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be launching on 11th May 2023 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in digital format only; however, the Nintendo Switch version of the game is cancelled.
Players can also purchase the fourth and final post-launch DLC titled Blood Storm which features Storm, along with the other three previous DLCs on the same date. Blood Storm can be purchased individually or as part of of the Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass. Each of the DLC brings in a new recruitable hero along with three new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and a selection of new skins and outfits for the hero.
Storm, real name Ororo Munroe, was orphaned at a young age and taken in by a village priestess while traveling to her mother’s home in Kenya. When their village had suffered from a drought, Ororo used her newly awakened powers to summon up a rain to save her village and family.
A few years passed when word of her ability to control the weather had spread, Ororo was recruited to the X-Men by Charles Xavier and took up the mantle as Storm. She then went on to lead the X-Men, using her mutant abilities to help people all over the world.
While she was searching for an endangered mutant child in New York with Wolverine, she came across Magik, who encourages her to join the Midnight Suns in Blood Storm.
