Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new release from XCOM developers

The developer behind the XCOM and Civilisation games, Firaxis Games, has a new release on their hands, Marvel’s Midnight Suns. This upcoming title takes iconic Marvel characters and pits them into tactics RPG-style battles.

The game was announced during the opening night live stream of Gamescom 2021. Its announcement trailer, The Awakening, features the song ‘Enter Sandman’ by Alessia Cara & The Warning from The Metallica Blacklist.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, putting you face-to-face against demonic forces of the underworld as you team up with and live among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense.

The game is published by 2K Games. Players can sign-up for to get news and promotional marketing from 2K and its affiliates on the game’s website and receive an Exclusive Blade Nightstalker Skin.

The game is set to release in March 2022. Firaxis will reveal gameplay footage on September 1, 2021. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
