Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode 1 out

The first episode of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series has just been made available, and as you may have already guessed, its developers Telltale has big plans for its latest adaptation. In in an official blogpost, Marvel will be launching a five-issue prequel comic book starting July 2017 which will offer fans of the game an opportunity to learn more Telltale’s take on the Guardians series.

With Guardians of the Galaxy taking place in its own separate series distinct from the Marvel Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there will be a lot of stories to tell, which Telltale fully intends to do. As such Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series could very well be its own franchise that can keep fans occupied as they wait in between movies. Of course, this is subject to how well the first episode does, but given Telltale’s pedigree, there is no real need to be concerned.
