Marvel Realm of Champions has announced its end of service, with servers going offline on 31 March 2022. The game has also since been removed from their respective app stores, and in-game purchases have been disabled. It’s probably not surprising to most, when the last official update (on Twitter at least) was 16 December 2021.
When we started to develop Marvel Realm of Champions, we set out to create a fast-paced action RPG with competitive PVP battles, and the ability to customize your own Marvel Champions in the way that you want. Despite making multiple adjustments and changes along the way, we have not been able to meet the vision that we had initially set.
Prior to the end of service, Marvel Realm of Champions will be making adjustments so that remaining players can enjoy:
- Unreleased Gear Sets and Weapons
- Greatly increased Units distribution
- Gear Crates and Crafting Crystals cost fewer Units
- Arena Conquest, Daily Missions, Solo Conquest, War Thor’s Crucible and Deathmatch game modes available until 31 March
Marvel Realm of Champions started with one big question, who killed the Maestro? The answer to this question, as well as the conclusion to the story will be revealed here before the game comes to a close.
As Kabam is also servicing the long running Marvel Contest of Champions, there will be bonuses depending on your progress and investment in Realm available for you in that game. You must link your accounts with the same Kabam ID, whether or not you are just joining, or already playing, Contest.
