At the ongoing New York Comic Con, a new Marvel game in the form of Marvel Realm of Champions has been announced by Marvel Entertainment for the Android and iOS platforms.
Accompanying the announcement is a short trailer of the game, which highlights its premise in addition to some characters players can expect from the full release, including Black Panther and Iron Man. That aside, there are little details for us to go on, other than the fact that the game should be out sometime in 2020 as a free-to-play title.
Its developer Kabam was previously tasked to work on Marvel Contest of Champions and Transformers Forged to Fight, just to give you an idea of what it has done. Speaking of which, despite the resemblance in terms of naming to the former, Marvel Realm of Champions has nothing to do with Marvel Contest of Champions, despite being in the same universe and sharing similar stories and events.
The official website is up, but there isn’t much going on right now, so bookmark it or something until Marvel Entertainment decides to update it eventually. Watch the entire announcement in the video above.
