Mario’s Ass Is Missing From The New Movie Poster And The Internet Has Spoken Out

Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct about the upcoming Super Mario Bros movie alongside a new teaser poster, and fans have already noticed a problem: where is Mario’s ass.

Anyone who has played any of the Mario titles would know that Super Mario has quite the rotund caboose.

He’s a plump little plumber, this is something that has followed the character ever since his earliest debut back in the 80s. The movie Mario however is rather lacking in the overalls which will likely make stomping on goombas far more difficult and potentially painful. How will Princess Peach fall for a hero that lacks any peaches of his own?

The internet has been quick to notice this discrepancy and has spoken out about crimes against Mario’s ass. Some have even used their editing skills to fix the issue.

As you can see Mario’s ass is a very important part of the character, that should be properly translated into the new movie to make it as authentic the games as possible.

The Super Mario Movie is a new animated film made in partnership between Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment, the animation house known for making the Despicable Me films. Mario will be played by Chris Pratt, with other celebrities playing the rest of the cast including Jack Black as Bowser, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.

The new Nintendo Direct about the Super Mario Movie will premiere on October 7th at 4:05 AM MYT.
