The most wishlisted game on Steam, Manor Lords, just released 2 days ago and it has already sold over 1 million copies and hit a peak concurrent player counter of 170K.
Since yesterday’s launch Manor Lords has already sold over 1 million copies & hit a peak Steam concurrent player count of 170k – highest ever for a city builder (or for other different genres like GSG/4x/colony sim). Celebrating its achievement, publisher Hooded Horse has shared the incredible numbers on Twitter/X.
With such a milestone, Manor Lords is also a record holder for the highest concurrent player count on Steam for any city builder-type game.
Just 2 weeks ago, publisher Hooded Horse also revealed that Manor Lords became the most wishlisted game on Steam, hitting 2.5 million wishlists and beating other equally highly anticipated games such as Hades II and Black Myth: Wukong.
Manor Lords is a medieval strategy game by developer Slavic Magic, where you play as a lord attempting to climb the ranks by expanding small villages to bustling cities.
Inspired by the architecture of late 14th-century Franconia, the game features a gridless city-building experience where you manage resources and production chains, from agriculture to the central marketplace.
It would not be a medieval game that boasts realism without warfare as Manor Lords also features conflicts between neighboring lords and you would need to command to defend your own land.
Manor Lords is now available on PC via Steam.
