Man Gets Free Phone With Razer CEO’s Face Tattooed

Human beings have done absurd things just to get what they want. Nothing can stop a man from getting what they want when they’ve set their mind to it. Even if it causes them to have a permanent face tattooed on their body. This was exactly what happened to a devoted Razer fan from the United States, Matt Connelly.

Matt Connelly, 28, is an independent contractor in the States. He was found commenting on one of Mr. Tan’s (Tan Min-Liang – Razer CEO) Facebook posts last month. There, he asked if he could get a free phone if he tattooed his (Mr. Tan) face on him. In his reply Mr. Tan said, “Lol sure – permanent tattoo and I’ll be sure to sign the box when I send it out!”

Sure enough, Matt did as he promised. On a wonderful Wednesday (6th Dec), he got Mr. Tan’s face tattooed on his right leg and was in contact with a Razer employee of his free phone. He said, “I did get the tattoo and I’m waiting on email correspondence from an employee at Razer so I can get the phone shipped out.” He later posted photos of the tattoo on the original thread and Mr. Tan congratulated Mr. Conelly for his guts.

The CEO of Razer later posted,”The Razer Phone has been sold out constantly due to the insane demand and we’ve been doing everything to keep it in stock… but there are those who would go to all extents to get a Razer Phone and Matt C has taken it to an all new level – by tattooing my face on himself.”

“Congrats Matt – well played.”
