Malaysian Pantai Hospital Posts Shigure Ui Meme On Tiktok

Malaysian healthcare provider Pantai Hospital has decided to jump in on popular trends by posting a TikTok featuring Vtuber Shigure Ui.

The video features a clip of the chorus dance for the Shigure Ui song Loli God Requiem, with the vtuber dancing alongside the Pantai Hospital ambulance.

“Bet you’ve never seen Ui Shigure vibe to an ambulance! Remember Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur’s emergency department number if you’re in a pinch especially around the Mid Valley-Bangsar area”, the caption reads. 

It should be noted that rather than using the actual song, the Pantai Hospital team used the 9mm edit, which instead replaced the audio with Memphis Cult’s 9mm.

Loli God Requiem was a surprise viral hit for Shigure Ui, with the song currently at 44 million views one month after release.

The popularity of the song was in part due to its hypnotic chorus dance, featuring an incredibly expressive animation of a 9-year-old Shigure Ui dancing along to the beat.

It’s no surprise that a social media page would pick up on popular trends, the joke just comes in when you realize that it’s a private hospital promoting their services with a dancing anime girl.

Fans of Shigure Ui can also look forward to the Vtuber’s appearance at AFA 2023 in Singapore next month, alongside other guests like Iori Moe as well as various voice actors like Soma Saito.
