LiHO TEA had previously announced a Genshin Impact collaboration where they feature drinks and merchandise themed after the characters in game, however, Malaysian netizens weren’t too pleased with the event.
Netizens who went for the collaboration event had voiced their complaints across several social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
The main general complaint regarding the Genshin Impact LiHO TEA event was due to the sheer lack of stock of the collaboration merchandise, with some netizens saying that flagship stores only had 30 sets while others only had 10 sets per day.
This brought shock to many considering Genshin Impact is arguably one of the most popular games in Malaysia, with numerous other collaborative events that had been previously held in the country.

This resulted in some visitors lining up in a queue for nearly 2-3 hours, only to be greeted by nothing.
LiHO TEA Malaysia seemed to have noticed the backlash by the community and has issued an announcement over on their official Facebook account, apologising for the inconveniences and will be working to restock the merchandise.
The announcement mentions that they will be restocking the merchandise for their 1 Utama branch on 6th January, and the third round of restocks still being unconfirmed for selected LiHO TEA outlets.
