Representatives for Malaysia came to win at the recently concluded Commonwealth Esports Championships 2022, with a total tally of three golds in the two day event. Held at Birmingham on 6 – 7 August 2022, with teams and players competing in Dota 2, Rocket League, and eFootball.

Malaysia topped the medal tally for the Commonwealth Esports Championship 2022 with those three golds for eFootball (Open), Dota 2 Women’s, and Dota 2 (Open). The event saw a strong showing of women as well, with a message from Women in Esports:
