After an understandable hiatus considering COVID-19, the Malaysia Cyber Games is set to return in 2022. The list of games that appear to be featured at the event includes:
- Dota 2
- Valorant
- Hearthstone
- PES 2020 (since rebranded into eFootball)
- Street Fighter 5
- Tekken 7
- FIFA 2022
- PUBG Mobile
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
- Magic Chess (auto-chess spin-off of Mobile Legends)
- Pokemon Unite
- Clash Royale
- Brawl Stars
- Clash of Clans
- Gran Turismo Sport
With the list standing at 15 games, that’s a staggering swathe of titles where players may be able to compete in, and certainly promising to be the biggest event yet. Competitive players in the nation could certainly stand to keep a close eye on the Malaysia Cyber Games 2022 to get their cut of whatever prize pool there may be.
It’ll be a good time for less experienced teams and players to gain some competitive exposure and enthusiasts to watch out for any local talent. Hopefully, the event will be able to be an offline one, as that’s been a long time coming.
