Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) launched the Malaysia Animation Film Festival today, aimed at showcasing local animated films.
As part of the Malaysia Animation Film Festival, select GSC outlets will be screening a host of local content from October 5th to October 23rd, with tickets set at RM15 per ticket.
Here’s a list of films you’ll be able to catch as part of the film festival:
- Pillar of Strength by Aie Ibrahim
- Walinong Sari by Eugene Foo
- Kuihpocalypse by Han F
- The Muralz by Jeremy Lee
- The One That Got Away by Jared Lee
- Footprints In The Forest by Juhaidah Joemin and Sandra Khoo
- Framed Memories by Mclelun Lee

- IOI City Mall

The launch event was attended by MDEC CEO Tan Sri Mahadhir Aziz, who said this was part of the government’s commitment to showcasing local talent.

The event is done via MDEC’s Kre8tif platform, which also hosted various talks during Level Up KL.
